What will be, will be

At the Hindu center dance recital, there was a dance to the tunes of Hindi song 'Kay Sera Sera'. I told my daughter about the original song by Doris Day. Then we asked chatGPT about some facts and that led to reviving this blog after 13 years. The last post was before my son Neel was born. So here it goes: Alfred Hitchcock directed the movie "The Man Who Knew Too Much" in 1956, which starred Doris Day in a leading role. The movie also featured a song called "Que Sera, Sera," which became a popular hit and won an Academy Award for Best Original Song. Incidentally, it is one movie that Hitchcock made twice and this was the second time. In 2000, the Bollywood movie "Pukar" was released, which starred Madhuri Dixit in a lead role. And it also contained the Hindi remake of the 'Kay Sera Sera' song (which the kids were dancing to). The song was picturized on Madhuri with music by AR Rahman and lyrics by Javed Akhtar. Akhtar is a famous poet and lyrcist so it is surprising that he literally translated the meaning of What will be, will be to Hindi - Jo Bhi Ho So Ho. The film included a 12 minute Guinness World Record-winning drum solo by Sivamani, a famous Indian percussionist. So Hitchcock, Que Sera Sera, Doris Day, Madhuri Dixit, Sivamani are connected
